It has been a while since we have had a hand history review, and this time there is a twist on the standard format – Marc Alioto is actually joined by TiltedEV himself to discuss the hand history review! This is great because we can get a better feel for the dynamics of the table, any reads on certain players, and just his thoughts in general.

In part 1 it is early stages but there is still a few significant pots. There is some good discussion on bet sizing too. There is also some discussion about how sometimes there could be a marginally +EV spot that you shouldn’t take, just because it is higher variance and there could be a better spot later. That theme continues in part 2, where there are a few marginal calls that TiltedEV makes that he could possibly have taken a lower variance line, although there are arguments either way.

After some pretty cool intro music, Daryl Jaces gives us a live sweat, this time of the Poker Maximus $530 Superstack Main Event, $100 Main Event, and the $11 Mini Main Event. It is early stages in all of the tourneys. If you have seen Daryl’s other live sweat videos, you will see that he makes extensive use of notes, and he also puts an indication as to how strong his read is, which is excellent. He also goes through his adjustments based on his notes. It is also interesting to note that Daryl’s postflop bet sizing is a bit bigger, in the early stages when it is so deep. In part 2 it is still early stages, and there is an interesting spot where Daryl has QQ and gets min cold 4bet. If you are looking for videos on tilt control this is probably not it!
