Andrew Brokos continues his theory series on range construction this week. In part 7, he focuses on pre-flop ranges. He goes into why we open raise, which hands are good to do this with, and how antes affect these decisions. In part 8, he discusses three betting. He explains polarized and de-polarized ranges focusing on when you should use each of them. Then he talks about defending against three bets with good calling and four betting ranges.
Not All Paths Are the Same – Member HH Review with Cory “MJ23STYLEz” Waaland
Cory Waaland continues his hand history review of his win in a Merge tournament. In part 3, he starts with 35bbs late in the tournament. Right off the bat, he makes a good blind vs. blind bluff to run it up to 45bbs. He continues all the way to the final table where he stops and does a review of his friend DiamondDixie’s journey there as well. In part 4, she starts with around 175bbs and is likely the overall chip leader. Midway through the vid, she wins a massive pot with AA vs. AK for a ridiculous stack to take into the later stages.
