Hey guys, this week we continue in the same vein as last week with series from betudontbet and cougars4444 as they make deep runs in their respective live sweats.

On this episode of the Tournament Poker Edge Podcast, TTwist and Cougars4444 join us to discuss live poker tournament strategy and, as the 2012 World Series of Poker quickly approaches, give some advice for people playing their first live tournaments.
For people that have not played a WSOP event before there is some great advice here, particularly with regards to just savouring the moment and not letting the occasion get the better of you.
Videos
Dave “betudontbet” Emmons Premiere Series Live Sweat
Part 5We return with 6 tables on the go, so for those that like plenty of action in your videos, this one definitely has it. I really love the extensive use of the nash push-fold charts, and how he has the time to analyse his game whilst playing. I don’t think that is for everybody, but we should all be reviewing our sessions with the nash calculator regularly. Unfortunately there was a spate of bustouts near the end of the video, but he has some other nice tourneys running off the screen to pull into the video, so there is still 4 on the go. In part 5 we return with 10 left in the $22 action hour 6max and some other tables that are still in the early stages, so there is a real mix of content here. For a multi-tabling live sweat, it really is incredible the amount of detail David goes into here.
Cougars4444 $1 Rebuy Frenzy Win and More Micros
In part 4, we are on the final table bubble of the dollar frenzy, and nearing the cash in the $5.5 rebuy, so some super deep runs are on the cards. He loses a crucial flip in the dollar, but we already know he ships it so it will be a fun comeback! Everyone is so short that Cougars is 2/8 going into the final table with only 12bb but this is where push-fold play comes to the fore. It’s not long and he is back down to 2bb and the fun begins again! In the 5.5 rebuy he is cruising along nicely with a great stack. After all of the sick comebacks, he finally chips the tourney!
Forum
In the forums this week, “shawnivey” has really got his hands dirty and contributed greatly to a lot of threads, including posting some of his own.
One of the threads he started involves a pretty interesting hand on the final table of the $55 nightly on stars
“martymac” posts his first ever strategy topic, and it’s a really interesting spot, where he has AK and flops top-top,
Lastly, “nocturnal1” posts a hand where he flats TJs pre and flop huge

Member Scores
This week there were quite a few member scores, so I will only post the bigger ones. “shawnivey” managed an epic comeback to finish third in the $55 nightly 30k on stars, and “jjfumusc” shipped the merge 10k gtd for $1900. A few other TPE members made nice runs too, including “insidiously”, “ownednutz” and “Brolo23”.
WSOP Staking
As most of us know, WSOP is just around the corner, but also for most of us, we cannot get there to play. If you would like to still feel like you are involved, then why not buy a small piece of someone.
TPE Pro DannyN13 and member “shawnivey” have both put up staking threads on the forum and I’m sure you will agree that both these boys are complete guns and worth the money. So check out and hopefully these boys can play a small part in making the TPE community a little richer!

See you at the tables!
