LOL LIVEAMENTS with Andrew Brokos

Andrew reviews some hands he played in a live local tournament in this video series. He goes through the hands, pausing in spots to ask what you would have done in his shoes. This is an excellent way to study the game. He ends the video with tips to help you practice getting better at live tournaments on your own.

High Roller Hand History Review with Daryl “aaaaaaa” Jace

https://www.tournamentpokeredge.com/high-roller-hand-history-review-with-daryl-aaaaaaaa-jace-part-3/

Daryl Jace wraps up his review of the high roller on Merge. In part 3, we start at the final table with one of the bigger stacks. He uses aggression to build his stack up even further, but then admittedly over plays a big draw in a bad spot to become one of the short stacks. However, by staying focused, he is able to run it back up to a very nice result.

Cory continues his live sweat series this week. In part 2, he continues to play his short stacks on most of the tables but builds up to a decent sized stack in the Merge Nightly 11 by the end of the video. In part 3, he wins a big pot on the final table bubble and continues to build at the final table. He ends the video with 5 players left.

Why ‘No Man is an Island’ in Poker by Matthew Hunt

https://www.tournamentpokeredge.com/why-no-man-is-an-island-in-poker/

In this article, Matthew talks about you cannot succeed in poker, or in life for that matter, by trying to do it alone. Even when you think you are a loner, you use the help of others in subtle ways. Embrace the resources and people around you that may be able to help and you will make your journey much easier.

The Downsides of Positivity in Poker by Daryl Jace

https://www.tournamentpokeredge.com/the-downsides-of-positivity-in-poker/

In this article, Daryl talks about trying not to get your hopes up while playing poker tournaments because the let down can be overwhelming. He links to one of the funniest YouTube videos I’ve ever seen (cash out on your titties?) and tells how positivity has let him down in the past.
