Hey guys. This week we see the introduction of a brand new type of video, the “Member Spotlight” series. This series will see TPE members making the videos, which should be really interesting and something different. It’s not surprising given his recent form, but the first TPE member to provide a video is “Rivermen123.” This is in addition to the standard four videos a week, so this week there is five for you to enjoy. This week also sees the return of BourbonFTW with a hand history review of a 100r tourney he played a little while ago, and a Bigdog live sweat.

BourbonFTW 100r Hand History Review
After a break of a few months BourbonFTW videos have been coming thick and fast lately, which I absolutely love, and this time he brings us a hand history review of his 100r 6max deep run. There is a huge amount of action early in this tourney which makes for some fun pots. Balancing is key in a tourney such as this, and there is an interesting spot where BourbonFTW flops huge but decides to check-call and go from there. There is also some good discussion about changing your bet sizing depending on the opponent.
Part 2 continues with the blinds at 120/240 and BourbonFTW has a healthy 60bb. There is a few interesting hands where he is trying to isolate a weaker player who he has position on. Sooner or later the isolation pays off and BourbonFTW is gifted a huge stack! Unfortunately another solid reg takes the fishes place and it will be much tougher from here on in. BourbonFTW’s trademark aggression kicks in at this point though, so if you are a TAG looking to open your game up, this is a great video. It does help when your image helps people 5bet shove with air or call river overshoves with ace high though! At the end of the video you see some of the best rungood of any video on TPE, must be nice as they say!
Bigdogpckt5′s Saturday Session Live Sweat
Although this is part 2 of the Bigdog’s live sweat series, it is actually a brand new sweat – as mentioned before, the Bigdog’s laptop decided to die and so he lost the rest of the original series. But no matter, he is back with a new sweat!
In part 1, we have the early stages of a $320 125k gtd, a $25 hyper turbo, a $55 second chance turbo, and the Big $109, all on stars. Although we are early there is still a few interesting spots, especially in some turbo play. Unfortunately he runs pretty bad early on but he loads up another few tourneys so there is still 4 on the go.
At the end of part 2, he unfortunately busts a couple of tourneys, so we are down to two at the start of part 3. He gets a little card dead for a lot of the video, but the big dog is hanging around in the $320 so hopefully he can make a deep run.
Member Spotlight: Rivermen123 4r Live Sweat
This week TPE introduces a brand new type of video, the “Member Spotlight” Series. In this series they will give TPE members a chance to make some videos for the site! Given his incredible success lately, “Rivermen123” was a pretty natural first choice, and in this video we are treated to a live sweat of a $4r on Lock Poker. We jump straight in close to the bubble of the 4r, and we also have a couple of other tourneys, including a $5r and a 2k gtd deepstack freezeout.
The first thing that stands out about rivermen123’s video is his note taking, which is excellent and makes me want to work a lot harder at taking notes. There is also a great resteal spot early on where the reasoning is excellent. He plays a very aggressive game which means there are lots of interesting spots.
I have to say that this video is excellent and is as good as any other low stakes vid you will see on TPE, I am eagerly awaiting further parts to this series.

Member Scores
There were quite a few member scores this week – “badabing78” managed to ship a 2k gtd on ongame, which also gave him the nations cup tournament leaderboard lead, so hopefully he can hang onto that, but that wasn’t his only score for the week, also making a deep run in party poker pokerfest event 12, finishing third. “Van H3Lzing” had a huge score, taking down the 10 cubed on stars for 2.2k, “Brolo23” final tabled a couple of different tourneys on RPM, Insidiously finished third in a 10k gtd on lock, and new member “OkieNGa” had a heap of deep runs.
See you at the tables!
