This week, Chris Moon concludes his WCOOP series and Stick it to the Man returns with Killingbird on the hot seat and Marc Alioto holding the flame thrower. We also have a new article and a blog entry from Killingbird. And as if he wasn’t working hard enough, he debuted a new podcast with Matt Hunt called Midstakes Living. Check it out.

Sticking it to the Man! Killingbird’s Nightly $11 with Marc Alioto
In part 1, Marc helps KB discover a leak where he is not c-betting enough. In part 2, the lack of c-betting escalates to absurd levels to the point that KB assumes he must be sitting out. God, I’ve missed this series. Diego, you’re next!

In part 7, Chris is joined by Jamie Kerstetter for the first half of the final table. For a nice added bonus, we have PokerStars pro Liv Boeree on our immediate left. In part 8, we make it down to a few spots from the win before the inevitable river beat ensues. I hate poker.

Assessing the Previous Generation of Poker Players
https://www.tournamentpokeredge.com/assessing-the-previous-generation-of-poker-players/
The article this week was inspired by a harsh tweet by a young new school poker player judging old school poker players. It does a good job of comparing the esteem in which past sports stars are held to the disdain in which past poker stars are held by some. I’ve been guilty of this in the past. Before passing judgement while watching footage from the 80s, just remember that those guys didn’t have the luxury of a coveted TPE subscription.

Midstakes Living is a new podcast hosted by Matt Hunt and Killingbird. It focuses less on strategy, and more on the more nuanced aspects of being a tournament poker professional. The guest this week was PokerStars pro Mickey Petersen.

Killingbird gives us a blog update this week. He is coming out of a small downswing and is excited to be doing the new podcast with Matt Hunt. In WSOP news, the TPE house is booked and ready to go. KB will be playing the main for the first time and he will be playing the WSOP Circuit event in Cherokee. He’s really looking forward to the canned lentils I am bringing for him on his breaks.
