Hey guys. Following on from last week’s podcast, Daryl “aaaaaaaa” Jace is back for Part 3 of his TPE Theory Vid on Exploiting Tendencies, which makes an excellent set of theory videos. The main focus for the next couple of weeks however is the Dual Live Sweat from Bigdogpckt5′s and KidCardiff6. This week there are three parts of the series, still in the early stages.

Bigdogpckt5′s and KidCardiff6 109r Dual Live Sweat (Part 2,3,4 of 10)
Part 2 sees Ben “KidCardiff6” Warrington continue his live sweat, which currently consists of 5 tables including the $109r, and now we have “Bigdogpckt5′s” on his right, so the fun begins! I love Ben’s discussion on how he structures his daily grind schedule and the potential pitfalls of large field tournaments. Once again Ben can’t win a flip in some of the other turbo tourneys he is playing, but he still has a playable stack in the 109r.
Part 3 is Ben continuing with his live grind, in a $215 turbo, the Big $109, and the $109r, with Bigdog is still on his right for the first part of the video. Ben still can’t get any sort of rungood going, losing just about every flip, but he is still alive in the $109r, and it isn’t long until he is focussing solely on this tournament. As he is only playing a single table and it is getting close to the bubble, he decides to open up some of the other tables in the tourney so that we can get some info on the other regs in the tournament. It is interesting to see how his strategy changes given the table draw.
Part 4 sees the introduction of Bigdog’s part of the live sweat, with him one-tabling. It is the last part of the solo sweats – parts five and onwards sees the videos combined. We pick up the action with Bigdog the chip leader and owning the table. In a tourney such as this, it is all about leveraging the previous dynamics against the other regs, and both Bigdog and Ben are great exponents of that.
TPE Theory: Exploiting Tendencies (Part 3)
Daryl “aaaaaaaa” Jace returns for part 3 of his theory video series on exploiting tendencies. In this part he covers how to exploit when our opponents are calling 3bets too light, folding too much to cbets and check-raising cbets too much. This is certainly a video where you should be pausing regularly and thinking about when each of these situations occurs in your own game and how to incorporate these exploits into your game.
Forum
This week in the forums, “Squibsorz” posts a really interesting spot where he has just made it into the money in the Merge 100k with 34bb, and he gets shoved on pre by the original raiser. Interesting spot
“StringerBell1982” is also wondering whether he should have gone for the third street of value with his aces on a relatively dry board
Member Scores
Sweat threads were a bit light this week. KB saved his night by finishing second in a Lock $2.25K gtd, “Miniman04” made ANOTHER Lock final table, and “preator” shipped the Poker Maximus ME satty. Bytie_nl also shipped the PokerStars 100k depositor freeroll besting a field of over 20k runners!
Keep the scores coming, it is really great to see TPE members doing well!
See you at the tables!
