In this first week of 2014, we have a new hand history review from Chris Moon while Cody Custer continues his live sweat. Killingbird and theginger45 kick off the new year with some poker resolutions. You can do the same with the help of TPE University and add your name to the long list of members who started the year off by shipping tourneys.

WCOOP 6max Shootout Hand History Review with Chris Moon

Chris Moon reviews his 6max shootout this week. In part 1, he stresses that value raising ranges are wider in this format, but is shrewd enough to lay down a pretty starting hand when a villain shows uncommon strength. In part 2, the blinds get a bit higher and Chris gets more active. This is a good video to study 3bet/4bet spots.

Cody continues with his Bovada live sweat this week. In part 3, he gets into the midstages of the tournament and turns up the aggression even more to scoop some blinds and antes. In part 4, he gets down to two tables and the money bubble. His style allows him to exploit the tighter players.

Matt Hunt reviews his 2013 goals and progress. He didn’t reach a lot of them, so he scaled back his 2014 goals to more feasible levels. These include both poker and life goals. You should have both types of goals as well.
