This week Cody Custer wrapped up his ICM series, Big Dog continued his Sunday Million review, and new pro Merfinis debuted with a great live sweat. The new pros seem to have revived the TPE Blog section as well which is awesome. TPE has a lot to offer so make sure you’re not missing out on any of it.

TPE Theory: A Deep Dive into ICM by Cody Custer
https://www.tournamentpokeredge.com/tpe-theory-a-deep-dive-into-icm-part-4/
This is the final part of Cody Custer’s ICM series. He takes a hand Clark206 posted in the TPE forums and analyzes it in ICMizer. He makes a good point that making the series has helped his game as much, if not more than, it helps the members. It is important that we all do things like this on our own as well as passively watching videos.
Bigdogpckt5′s Sunday Million Back to Back Win Hand History Review
Big Dog’s Sunday Million run highlights the skill and luck needed to make it through a field of this size. In part 3, he makes a very good read of villain’s hand and has the heart to put in a sick river bluff for a good portion of his stack. In part 4, he admittedly gets lucky in a few spots. This just goes to show you gotta run good and play great.

Merfinis jumps back on the blog to give us a quick update. He will be traveling to Barcelona for Estrellas Poker Tour Main Event and playing some WCOOP events. Here’s hoping he shipped a few of these so we can get some great hand history reviews.
Hello, TPE! By theginger45

Matthew “theginger45” Hunt gives us an extensive background check (only thing missing is any crimes he may have committed as a minor). Reading his poker history kinda makes you feel like you are reliving it with him. Seems like he will be a great addition to the team.

Strategy
This hand comes from yours truly. I 3-bet, then c-bet from OOP and had a decision to make on the turn when I picked up second pair and a gutshot.
MadBaltic has AA in a 3bet, 3 way pot and gets raised on the wettest flop ever.
