Hey guys, another double edition thanks to a live tournament I was away playing, Which means heaps of great material has come out that lately! Rivermen123 releases a high roller live sweat, with some pretty hyper aggressive dynamics that make for pretty interesting viewing. Andrew brooks brings us another series, this time a HH review of his deep run in a $500 WCOOP 2nd chance. As we have come to expect his level of analysis is pretty intense and he covers a lot of novel topics that tournament players typically overlook. Plus new articles, a new podcast with Chris Moon and KB has a new blog post up.

James continues his live sweat with two tables up, James analysis is spot on in many instances and he covers some topics that I haven’t really heard discussed before which were quite interesting, like the value of folding a chop when it is a large portion of his range and there is a low SPR. He also touches on general adjustments like opening wider in spots that the better players have either left the action or will struggle to play back at us too wide, James also seems very aware of table draws and talks about advantages and drawbacks of chips moving different directions on the table and the adjustments he should make. He also touches on some game flow issues, like raising limpers BVB increasing the frequency he gets walked in the future. Of good quality much like his other live sweat series and contains some very interesting gems. Definitely worth a watch!

Andrew Brokos returns with his 3rd series for TPE, this time a Hand History review from the 2012 WCOOP, at the start of the video he gives an outline of the best methods to maximise your return from his series. This series focuses on hand reading, value planning and the relationship between bet size and bet purpose. As usual with Andrew the concepts explained are quite complicated but are explained in very clear simple terms. He also touches on many areas he finds typical MTT players are deficient, specifically on there BB defend ranges v a min raise. And how we should be aware of the optimal bet size for each hand in our range. This series applies the concepts covered in his last two series very well, with both hand reading and value planning applied continuously throughout each video. He also explains some early position deep limping strategy that he uses with small pocket pairs. He also gives his views on some general strategies such as semi bluffing, 3betting OOP, and bet sizing at shallower stacks. Andrew is constantly planning ahead for future action on the next streets, whether for value, as a bluff, or to bluff catch, draw or float he usually articulates which cards he plans to do what facing which action which is very impressive and shows the level premeditation that is possible. Very impressive series so far!
