A little under halfway through the video there is a hand where SuitedAce opens AJo on the button and gets flatted by the SB.
SuitedAce cbets the Ace high flop and you seem to be recommending that he check back the flop for pot control. Later on when you said he made a mistake in the hand I think the cbet is the mistake you were referring to.
I noticed this theme a few other times in this series where you advocate checking back ace high flops when the hero hits the ace seemingly without regard to flop texture.
My question/point is: are you going to recommend this same line on the ace high flop if the hero has opened with say QJo (or worse) and completely missed? In that case it seems you need to represent the ace as it may be the best or only chance to win the pot.
It seems to me that if you have the ace you need to bet the ace in many if not most cases because that’s what you’re going to do if you missed (the biggest possible exception being where you have reason to believe you may be up against a better ace, which is not really the case here).
Otherwise you’re varying your play based on the strength/composition of your hand and good players are going to pick up on that.
