the A/Qo hand towards the end of the video I like the call on the river. I’m about 50% on him having 6’s. If he has 6’s, A push puts you under the average stack of the table with just over 40BB making you a target for wgihh and especially viok with his new 500BB which could put you in some challenging situations, as oppose the call which leaves you 3rd in chips at the table with the just under 80BB. Well played.

Good video
As far as the AQ hand I thought he had caught two pair on the river. Because the chance he had AA or QQ was only 2 possible combinations is so highly unlikely. The flop is a draw heavy flop I dont see him play 66 slow there so I dont think he has 66. 33 and 55 arent floating that flop so all thats really left is A3/A5 and air, all of which you have beat.

Also to add he raised pre flop against a UTG limp would he be doing that with 66 IP? Or would he be inclined to call for fear that he gets 3bet from UTG.

excellent video! thanks

Nice video Wein.
As far as the AQo hand, I think a shove is better there. I don’t see the villain calling the turn with a set (66 is the most probable one). With such a hand and a flush draw on the board, he would have re-raised all in to protect his/her hand.

Hand 1 (A7s) seems like a spot where you’ll never be bluff-catching, so I don’t like checking river. There’s not many draws he could have besides 76s, 87s; and those hands probably bet the turn when checked to

first off…great video! its great to see what higher level thinkers in the game are doing in these spots and i took a lot from it being as hand reading gives me troubles from time to time. that being said on the AQ hand i think in the moment the call is probably the better play. if i remember correctly he min-raised pre here to a utg limp. it kinda screams big hand or some kind of mid-pair. he obviously isnt going to chase anybody off here and it seems like he is trying to build the pot a bit here pre-flop. i guess on the river he could have been turning a hand like KJ of hearts into a bluff, but i dont think he is ever calling off worse than two pair here and the odds he hits ace two pair when you flopped ace two pair is pretty slim so it seems like trips would be the likely candidate. i guess what im trying to say is that the way the hand played out, more times than not you are up against trips so i think the call is the right play, but what do i know 🙂

Weak commentary, weak explanation, poor understanding of post flop poker. The 75dd pf call oop is lol.

I really like this format, not simply because you are covering a subject in depth, but even more so because you are analyzing a number of interesting hands in depth. Whereas the typical live vids, although they can be good…let’s face it, they often have a lot of uninteresting hands and sometimes get a little dull and superficial. I like how this site is trying to maintain a balance between both kinds of vids.

I can dig this vid…i hope the guy with the complaints was joking b/c I thought the vid was well explained and your stack was big enough for the call with the 75. keep um coming

love the vid, the last hand i don’t know if i would have folded before i saw this video being as i’ve seen people do sum crazy plays on the river. but i think this is a video i need to watch like 2 or 3 times so i can organize my thoughts in each hand like the pros do

Very helpful, and a pleasure to watch and hear your thought process. I like calling w the aq hand. It cannot be that incorrect, and it seems lower variance than the shove. I was unable to really rule out 66 from his range here. Keep em coming!

I would raise allin the AQo on the river, cause I think he would have raised the turn with 66 and a flush draw on the board and would try to built up a pot there.
The last hand really is a difficult spot, which I would fold only to a winning good player, and not to a random looser…thats why I have the tournament shark hud to make my final desicion.

Great vid. My opinion on AQ hand is if 66 in his range I think a typical line would be to call c bet especially in position. And raise turn bet would def make me think he had a set along with his prelop min raise. On the river I believe there is a better chance of him having 2 pair combos with Ax or A9-AK. Thanks for the vids they are helping me alot.

vid is ok, but I expected a higher level. I mean all turn&river hands were self explained, and the 75s hand vs. AA… I mean with 400BBs u can call for sure, but again …It was not hard to play turn&river …And u just got lucky he called the river, in higher&deeper tourneys ur 99% behind, if somebody check/raise push the river. His call was bad. For low stakes and maybe med stakes vid is good. For good med and high stakes it could be alot better.
I hope ill find a more difficult turn&river game vid.
