Great video indeed. This little spots where you tempt other people to shove over the top are great addition to my game! Looking forward for the rest!

Excellent video. Great to consider different ways of playing hands to optimize value with all the many changing details of the table/tournament stages, etc. This is super helpful to me. Will be watching it several times to try to absorb all the ideas. And I won’t be giving the big blinds walks anymore on my button! Like a couple of other commenters I think a vid on playing from and stealing the blinds would be helpful. Thanks for the exc and informative video. Looking forward to part 2!

great video.
small negative though: you guys need to work on your powerpoint presentations. slides with huge paragraphs are a big no no. nobody needs you to read every sentence to us.
for example: “let’s find some examples” is something you can say but don’t write on a slide.
keep the slides short. only write down major points.
it’s not an essay, it’s a presentation 🙂

have to agree with the last point

Sick story. Just read some of his posts on 2+2, what an MTT-beast. Sad to see such talented people pass away at that age.

agreed man def gonna work on that for the next one, thanks.

Good info. Thought the QQ hand was a little weird. I’m surprised you would just call in that position which may have allowed more people in the pot. If you would have even min raised that would have pushed A7 out pre flop.

Good vid. Reminders about not being afraid to play a pot in position and not being results orientated. I like the idea of taking a finer line which may lead to higher variance but leads to more opportunities to double up. Couple of points though… Not being able to see stack sizes in the replayer is frustrating, a fully sized replayer would have been better. And the final hand, I like the flat pre but I don’t see you being ahead of too many hands when he check shoves the turn there, if he has a heart draw he is prob shoving the flop rather than the turn, the only flush draw I can perhaps see shoving the turn is A 6 spades. So often in this position when I get check reshoved it’s because villain has caught his 2 outer which he did here.

I think you played the QQ hand horribly post-flop. On the turn there are not so many hands that will rise you considering the pre-flop action and his call on the flop.
Is he doing that with a heart flush-draw? Don’t think so, that would have been more appropriate on the flop. Is he doing it with a spade flush draw + straight draw? That is possible, but quite improbable from a combinatorics point of view. Is he doing that with a smaller pair? Don’t think so, as the turn card does not change the relative value of your hands, unless he has exactly a 7 or a flopped set.
I think a check-back on the turn to pot control would have been more appropriate.
