Tournament Poker Edge Adds Mike “SowersUNCC” Sowers to Pro Roster

Poker training site Tournament Poker Edge has added MTT specialist Mike “SowersUNCC” Sowers to its roster of video instructors.

Sowers, 26, is one of the top online and live tournament players. Since he began his career at age 19, he has competed around the world in some of the biggest and most prestigious events.  Mike has final tabled every live circuit series including WPT, EPT, and WSOP events (including 4 final tables in 5 years at the WSOP).  His career winnings online exceed $3,000,000 and his live winnings exceed $2,500,000.  He is an active learner and is always looking to improve.  His greatest attributes are controlled aggression, table dynamics, and preparation off the felt.

The first series from Sowers will go live on Thursday, May 2nd and will be a hand history review of one of the most amazing accomplishments in online poker. Back in 2011, he took TWO stacks to the final table of the Full Tilt Poker $1K multi-entry during Double Guarantees Week. He would end up winning that event for a combined total of over $500,000.
