Hey, I’m sure you wanted Marc and Ben to respond, but the answer is pretty clear: He should have jammed. He started the hand w 18 bb and is out of position facing a button raise from an aggressive player. By jamming, he’ll get called by a lot of dominated pairs, occasionally by dominated Ax hands and he’ll be flipping some. But he’s also folding out some over cards KJ, QT that could cause him trouble. By flatting, he’s left guessing whether his hand is good, and he’s clearly not good at that.
