Don’t normally leave comments but Mike I think these are brilliant mate! Your detailed explanations on each hand and your thought process is, imo top class. I’m taking lots of notes and looking forward to future vids.
Are you never going do and series just on the min raise would love to learn more about it am staring too use it more in my game but I always get in trouble when I get re raise back 3 to 6 times my rise and don’t know watt do something times I have trouble putting them on ranges when I don’t have must info on players.
Nice series, I like your detailed play-by-play explanation.
At around 8mins in you openx2 KQs with 17bb- are you raise/calling a reshove?
When you are flatted you say you don’t think he is strong when he flats you there – I think it looks very strong, if he is competent. Is your default to assume anyone in a $55 is terrible and play accordingly?
I would sometimes be raise calling KQs, sometimes folding depending on position, read, dynamics, situation etc…
I don’t mind opening KQ with under 20bb’s even to fold sometimes as it plays well vs flatting ranges esp from the BB; it also set’s up getting action from my “monster” under 20bb opens.
When someone flats a 17bb open of mine I would expect them to have either a monster or a “paint/paint” holding…either they are trapping or they didn’t want to play for my stack pre and/or just want to see a flop…
My read in that hand was that he was weak…
