Well once again I drank from the fountain of poker misery. A host of tournaments played yesterday and a couple of min cashes and 2 deep runs all met with lost 60/40's. The upside is I know my game is solid. I am getting my money in good, just can't hold. Won a couple of step #3 tickets yesterday which made things better. Now I am jsut trying to decide if I want to parlay those tickets into attempts for some SCOOP H buyin's sat's to try to make a few bucks more for the BR.
Sorry for the short entry, I was planning on writing further, just got caught up and distracted. So anyway back to where I left off. Full Tilt has launched their WSOP package quest through the STEPs so I am looking into diversifying my challenge and including playing there. So far I am "up" in my scoring system so I am very encouraged. I am thinking as I outlined above attempting to parlay some of my Step 3 tickets on Stars into some SCOOP High Buyin tickets, mostly as an effective means to generate some serious T$. If I could manage to nail down a couple of thousand T$ and play a huge SCOOP L schedule off of just a win, I would be pretty excited. Right now I am working on looking into all of the tourneys and trying to figure out what my schedule looks like so I can maximize the number of them I can play. It looks like the overwhelming majority of the Low buyins are 10k starting stacks with 15min levels and very complete blind structures so they should be very slow events overall leading to a huge edge for strong deep stack players (insert much happiness from the Gman there). I am hoping to battle through my bought with the run bad before then so I can really get myself moving in the direction of a big W. I think the biggest element for me right now is to stay focused on my challenge and to keep playing positively as I know that my game is solid, it just needs to break out of the variance.
