Hello TPE Nation,

Sorry I have not been around as much recently but the Christmas Holidays and New Years
celebrations have taken alot of my free time away. Now that things have settled again
I'll be back to updating this blog regularly from here on out.

So what have I been doing over the Christmas break? I have been getting up close and personal with my new Heads Up Display that I purchased as a Christmas gift to myself. Since I run on a Mac I decided to go with Poker CoPilot (www.pokercopilot.com) and I have been nothing but impressed. It is not quite as feature rich as Hold'em Manager or Poker Tracker but it does have a lot of features that I really, really like.

One thing that really impresses me about PCP is that it was written by just ONE MAN. His name is Steve and is from Germany and started out writing PCP just as a tool to help improve his programming and poker skills but it has blossomed into a full
fledged Holdem Manager / HUD business for himself. Steve also is very quick to release updates, bug fixes and features.

Funny Story: I actually wrote to Steve a week or two before I made up my mind to buy a HUD and asked him if it was possible to give me a little Christmas discount bonus' of 10% off the retail price ($69.00 Canadian) and to my suprise he wrote back the next day with a link for %25 OFF!! Pretty cool eh? Goes to show you never know unless you ask…so thanks again Steve.

My next few updates will be discussing HUD's and all the various statistics and percentages and HOW BEST TO UNDERSTAND what all the data means and HOW TO USE IT to your advantage. This is by far the most important part of running a HUD in my
opinion. I have been doing alot of reading and researching online about everything HUD related and I have to say that I am really starting to understand the statistics more and it has helped me with my game 10 fold already. I have been making deep runs
in some micro stakes MTT's recently, but also have been dabbling in some 6-Max $.10/$.25 NL Holdem and so far I am up over $100 in only a few short sessions.

Take care everyone and I hope you all had a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
