12:30 – A2dd in sb… Villain opens to over 3x… Cody says he would like a 3b to 6k…?? Our stack is 19k 28bbs… So we’d be putting in almost 30% of our stack to 3b fold? Assuming he just flats if you did 3b… What’s the flop plan oop?
Carlos
For the reasons you’ve stated, I am more likely to shove than 3bet-fold. We’d have around 30% equity and would be getting close to the right price I think.

So what are you making of his over 3x open? It’s been a few days since I seen the video but I don’t think we saw this much.
Carlos
If it’s not his standard sizing, it usually means a strong hand that he doesn’t want to play postflop. Could be something like AK or like 88-JJ.

So you’re putting him on that range and 3b calling? I’m pretty confused.
Carlos
Nope. I’m folding pre.
If I were to play it, I’d shove if I felt I had any FE because if you just 3-bet, you’d be getting close to the right price (30%) to call vs. a strong range (88+, AQ+). And his range could even be capped if he would normally 2x with KK+ which makes it even better.
But to answer your question, I prefer folding pre.
