aha! I saw this new pro “IGT” who supposedly plays alot of 180’s on Stars… “hmmm…” I thought, “I don’t recognise him…”. Figured I’d take a look, and knock me down with a feather its you! I remember a few years ago I was such a clueless noob I saw your name and even asked you…”What exactly do you grind?”. You never answered my imbecile question. Anyway it shows that TPE know their stuff when it comes to recruiting pros…you’d be right up there for the 180’s in my book, for what it is worth. Looking forward to your 180 stuff for sure.
A couple of things about this video if you don’t mind. First off you said at the start you usually limp aces vs strong players from the SB, and vs weak players you’ll raise. Personally I am more suspicious of a limp from a reg than a raise. A raise looks weaker to me. Then towards the end you say you like to limp most of your range from the SB. Just interested in your ideas about this.
Finally, I wonder if you might change the theme in the replayer in future…I was struggling to read your stack size…
Anyway good job and I can’t tell you how good it is to see you here.

sorry i put that post in the wrong place…whatever
I GRIND THIS
because strong players are more conditioned to raise limps. also to protect my limp/leading ranges vs players i play with more

This is great, look forward to watching the rest of the series.
Really appreciate your discussion of ranges and going into detail with each decision. Very thoughtful and good stuff.
Thanks!

In the J9cc hand at around 6mins you didn’t suggest if you would be calling off the shove or not hypothetically although I presume so with the double gut shot and overs?.. If the player is an amateur do we not just like betting pot to let him know we are committed or maybe Jamming flop (even though it is like 1.8x pot effective) and hoping he folds some 5x and possible 7 x’s instead of giving him the option to rejam? Thoughts?

Good video.
The J9cc , I think the reason why he choose to bet in that spot was because v is folding more often then not to a cet. I was also thinking jamming flop is a good idea , don’t think that would be bad at all given the SPR. 🙂
