In the AQ hand where I turn the nut flush, I should def not be jamming the turn because I should almost never be called and if he does have the K or even Q , he will probably put me in on river or bet/call.
His 2/3 pot size bet donk is almost always a bluff though, so raising is pointless.
A little dead air but whatever – there’s some good stuff about pf raise sizing and bet sizing based around SPR in here that a lot of people should take the time to pay attention to because it’s a very important and overlooked concept.
Nice Vid so far. Like your thoughts regarding squeeze spot with 88.
In the beginning, when you are discussing your PFR sizing from EP with AQ you mention that you want AT, KQ and JQ type hands to be calling and if your stack was larger you would be making your raise bigger. Why is it that you don’t want these hands calling on a regular basis? IMO, with AQ I wan’t those hands in despite being OOP because it is where we get our value from.
I think there is defiantly a reason to use bigger PRF sizing early in tournaments because you want to polarize ranges, but do we want to get rid of the hands noted above, the hands that we dominate?
Maybe i misunderstood your comments, but just thought it was something that could be discussed further.
I love how you explain everything in depth.
You are trying to solve a puzzle and telling a plausible story at the table all at the same time, it’s not just playing a hand and smashing buttons. Every hand is about making the best decisions.

Really like the video because you start off almost retiring haha. Would love to hear GoLeafsGoEh and yourself debate preflop raise sizing. Keep up the good work.

Hope you did well, Was nice to meet you fella, we had a good laugh about the moby in seat 8 who never stopped talking, but also thought a call of 9bigs with JJ when he had already opened was questionable. It’s not that you misunderstood them, I just didn’t do a great job of explaining what I meant.
Obviously I want AT/KQ etc in when I’m deeper, it’s just that if we are deeper, I don’t expect them to fold if I make it 2.75x or w/e.
With the stack I have in the AQ hand, I think I get many more folds if I open bigger and I reduce the chance of someone 3b/calling us off with AJ/KQs.
