    Hi Ryan,

First I want to say thank you very much that you share your knowledge with us. I hope not every bad player knows this site 🙂

My question: I play those micro-low stakes MTT’s and see a lot of regulars have an incredible tight image in the early stages, like 9/5 etc. The rock of all rocks.

I have seen two vids where you say it’s not wrong to open some suited connectors etc. I would say a lot looser then these rocks. I wonder what style is working best. If we go way back to the books of Harrington they explained us to be tight , because there is not much to gain from the blinds and there is no ante. So then you would say tight is right and the fish doesn’t seems to notice we are playing tight. They just want to play.

Now if you play well postflop , you could perhaps loosen up a bit in the early stages. And perhaps at the higher stakes they sometimes play different , so they get more action on there real hands, they are probably more balanced.

All of this is off course situation/table/players/our imgage etc. dependent, but would you say a tight style is better at the micro-low stakes? Any advice is welcome and thanks in advance.

Last question: At what stage would you consider to loosen up more , I mean do we start right when the first small ante kicks in?
