At 24 min you plan to 5 bet get it in with 55. Wow, just as I thought I was getting a good understanding of poker, I see you planning this move. I fully agreed with your play with 33 in your stop and Go video. I know the two situations are not the same but they are fairly alike.
I am sure you knew the dynamics at the table to know that a 5 bet shove with 55 was profitable. All I know is if I am the one 4 betting that I am a long way ahead of 55. So you would be unlikely to make this move against me ?

If you’re never 4bet bluffing, then you’re right, it would be a pretty bad move to get 55 in against you. But the only reason I made the play was in expectation of a high frequency of 4bet bluffs from the villain. So those spots are all about anticipating your opponent’s 4betting tendencies before they happen – if you know they’re 4bet bluffing a lot, you can 5bet shove and expect them to fold quite often.

Thank you, I get it now. I don’t know anyone who 4 bet bluffs so that is why I asked the question.

Then you know some pretty tight players 🙂 They, and you, should be 4bet bluffing sometimes. It’s often the best way to respond to aggressive 3bettors.
