is there actually a way to filter exactly for certain hands in hem2? lets say we loose 500BB on 100hands with A5s by calling a 3bet. we could easily look at 100hands and analyze what went wrong

Super informative and a great way to use all the functions of HM.
Looking forward to getting through this series.

Hey is there a problem with the rest of the series? I get an error for each other vid. Cheers guys. Leaning a lot, keen to get to the rest.

Hi, those posts are not supposed to be showing as they are not released yet. Thanks for the heads up, I will find out why the links appeared.

You can definitely do this. You can use filters to look at all instances where you had A5s and called a 3-bet, and that should give you the hands you need, in the bottom half of the screen display.

Good series, informative. Could you define the terms a little. You used the term, “flapping”. Terms like these need clarification for some.

One of my most enjoyed videos to date!

I noticed a little gotcha for the bb/100 and EV bb/100 in the overall report in the tournament reports on HM.
You may, like me, want to filter out Ante-Up tournaments (I filtered out Blinds greater than 5).
I have 186K hands in my current tournament db and it suggests I ran 6.02bb/100 under EV.
Once I filter out the 383 hands (yes, just 383) from Ante-Up tournaments it shows 0.43bb/100 under EV – much more in line.
It’d be nice, of course, if one could work entirely in M and not need such a filter, since ante/bb and the number of villains both vary a little during standard tournament play too, but not only are m/100 stats unavailable, the ante filter has units of chips rather than bbs.

I believe he’s saying “flatting” which is just calling a bet

Thanks for the series Matt and Dave, really enjoyed how it was done
