hi Cougars,

just finished watching these videos, really liked it. I would have two quetions:

-What would be the bankroll requirement to grind these tournaments? I mean the buyin is 3.30, but we immediately rebuy (which makes it 6.30) and we take the add-on as well (makes it 9.30). And we did not consider any rebuy yet, in case we bust.

-What ROI would you consider acceptable in these tournaments?

thanks

for a rebuy tournament you usually want to consider 5x the buyin as the average when thinking about br considerations.

If I count with 200 Buyins, this means I should have 3000 USD bankroll, to play these tournaments comfortably, right?

correct sir.

i would think that if you are playing these exclusively then 200 buyins would be a pretty comfortable bankroll, it could be slightly lower given the (obv) smaller field size compared to normal MTTs.

you could always mix these in with some regular 2/180 and 4/180s as well go keep your abi down. remember, as RFB says in his article, its ABI not max buyin that determines your roll.

Ya, I agree a 3k bankroll should be more then sufficient for these.  They have smaller fields so the variance won't be nearly as high as a normal large field MTT.
