Love the concept guys, but where’s this quiz at? Might also be an idea to have quiz options available to see if people might be able to skip sections (for instance, have all the quizzes available, and only study the modules you don’t pass the quiz on for instance). Anyway, looking forward to burying myself in the content!

most excellent. I take it the plan is to offer it to all members, and just let people use the course like a distance learning package? Or are you planning on running “intakes” to allow people to form discussion groups specific to the time period they were enrolled in the course?
You can take it at your leisure. You will go to a page that lists all the elements, which checkboxes next to whatever you have viewed so far. You determine if you want to continue and when. Whatever you do will get tracked so you can review your own progress. It won't tie you into other people and their progress. It's strictly on an individual basis.
If people do want to discuss the course module with each other we can keep the forum open for each course. I kind of like that idea.

Yeah, I found the forum discussion thing fairly helpful when I went through my last distance education course. We only got assessed once for each module, and so our best learning opportunities came from discussing the modules with each other. Apparently some of the participants didn’t like that so much and wanted more feedback from the lecturer so they simply dropped out. But I thought it an interesting enough concept to share.

one thing i would like to add is that there is some pretty advanced stuff in there, so for someone who is playing micros and just wants to dip their toes into poker vids this might be pretty intimidating.
it is a pretty good overview of the range of things that TPE offers, but i would think some sort of “beginner” course would be good as well – maybe some of the earlier lower stakes stuff for instance.
this current course could be renamed something that reflects the depth and breadth of TPE, whilst a “getting started” could be more oriented to beginner players.
thoughts?

I like the idea. It would be nice to be able to check off things that have been completed. Not sure the optimal way to go about this.
Also, we may want to think about making a low, mid, and high stakes version of this. I say this only because low stake noobs should not be watching wcoop vids, 100r, or sunday million because it has very little relevance to the style of players in the stakes they're playing.

You will be able to check things off, and great suggestion. We can do electives on low mid and high.

Love the concept. A great add on might be listing the time length of a video or group of video's within the training so that trainees can plan and/or filter based on their schedules. I like structure when learning and look forward to checking off some boxes. Great job.

yeah a total course length in number of hours, including video length and a rough estimation for reading articles, forum posts, and doing worksheets would be good

how about having a tutoring system where a few selected(volounteers) members are researching additional stuff like bluff magazine articles, book or book chapter reviews, answering easy questions and work closely with a pro on a topic to make it easier accesible to the community
topics could be:
theoretical optimal play pre and postflop/math in practice
math in theory/icm/chipchop/gto
game selection/br managment and mental game
live vs online play
use of software
and many morelet me know what you think
This is for sure something to look at never to much info imo!

if i had more time i would volunteer to produce my own podcast and chronicle my thoughts about doing each part of the course etc, but unfortunately im pretty banked up. maybe someone else might want to do it, otherwise early in the new year i would certainly do this.

+1 on this. Some people need to win at lower first before then advanced stuff is really useful

ttwist, i want to thank you for your valiant time and effort into this site and to bringing this idea into the can of this TPE. The organization of this is spot on for me that allows me to go from one video to another gaining and gaining insight and for me matches your goals of what you are trying to accomplish for the site. I am barrelling through these videos like a mad man and gaining insights on the tables that hopefully will gain traction in the months to come for me.
Thanks,

I have a question:
Is the TPEU gathers all the videos that are available for study or it selects the best videos for each topic?
Is there any videos that are available for us and not listed in any steps or electives?
Edit: Those are two questions actually and I know I can't do math LOL
we generated our selection from comments and ratings mostly but also from what fit the best and yes we have over 800 videos overall in our library for you to view and learn from.

Just wanted to point out that the second series, “-Late game play WCOOP deep Run Hand History review with Andrew Brokos” has its links wrong.
The first one is fine, but from the second link and on, it's actually a link for another series (Late game review)
Just so you guys be aware of that, so that no one starts watching the 'wrong' videos LOL
Thanks
Fernando Bodra
Good eye tyvm it has been fixed

Additionally, the questions for part 1 of of the DannyN13 Turbo video don't coordinate with anything in that video.
I just posted about this and was wondering why no one else seemed to have noticed.
Now I see your post here and it's over a month old!
Does anyone care about TPE-U other than us? It seems strange as hell that neither the creators nor any other members have said anything about this. These are the very first videos linked and the very first quiz in TPE-U. How many people are even paying attention?
It's a bit depressing to see this.
Hi, I did mention this in the TPE chat but not sure any admin was on to notice it. I failed the course because I was like WTF on the questions refering to wrong video, I didn´t take it that far to investigate what video it was supposed to match against. So might give it a try again.
