The course looks very comprehensive. Any idea how many hours of videos there is to watch?
I put an estimate of around 420 hours to absorb all the content of 7 steps and 9 electives. Obv you wont be doing 9 electives so the time will be shorter but adding all video time and podcast time and an avg of 10-15 to read an article we came up with approx 420 hours

don't be offense by what will follow, it is just my opinion.
I'm little bit disapointing by the format of this TPE U: why?
– it looks more like a table of content of the website, classified to improve our way to find stuff in videos, article and so on.
– so it means for me nothing with a kind of school. I was very excited initially, because I thought it would be more interactive. like a kind of roadmap to do like present yourself, your goals, have to go step by step following a schedule that adress topics by topics, to have to do something like for example each week, post a hand or 2 that the community can discuss on, have a follow up by TPE pro, interacting in forum on key concept to apply linked to article, vid…give a feedback on what we did to apply concept during on a tournament, reports tournaments plays and where we struggle….
works to do and report it in the forum, quizz by week, new vids link to TPE U to have a step by step learning of strong concept given by TPE pro
in a word: INTERACTIVE school and not a all-in one shoot of all the content that is in TPE web.
to be honest, before it exists, I already start to read article, watch vids and for me there is no added value except a good table of content of TPE website.
I will continue to look at TPE content, and will use TPE U, just has a map. sorry but I am quite disapointing may be it will be different when it will start, let's see

I'm not sure exactly when it will be posted, but I wanted to let you know that my latest video series takes some steps in this direction. Obviously it's not comprehensive of the entire site, but I'm trying to connect the content of the video to the interaction that's possible in the forums and give some concrete advice about how to practice the concept and add it to your own game.
Hey Lafauriea…thanks for your thoughtful posts. I really appreciate such detailed feedback as we do track it all and it's helping us shape future product ideas.
In looking back at the comments, I think the common thread is that you are looking for more direct interaction and feedback from the pros. I can defintely see the value in a more personalized approach. It's just not economically viable at the price point we are at.
That said, we have been kicking around ideas for a more customized program as a premium offering. But I think there's a place in the world for an affordable broadcast-type training program that guides you to what concepts to study, and some of the best teaching material on them. That's what TPE U is intended to be.
In the meantime have you checked out the coaching page? TPE posts coaching listings as a courtesy to our pros so we don't make anything off of it but I defnitely recommend some one on one time with a pro. I have done it in the past and it has been amazing for my game. I think you might find more of what you are looking for if you supplement your TPE subscription with personal time with a pro.
Again, thanks for the feedback. We appreciate our members telling us what they love and don't love about the site so we can get better.

thanks guys for your answers. I think I have not been too clear in my previous post. I don't want a direct coaching through TPE U , I know that it is not economically viable and you guys doing great compare to the price you ask. I think the value added is huge.
What I mean is to get something between a table of content of videos and direct coaching, there is a big gap in between these 2 extremes! like have to do list to get a more step by step university instead of hey guys there is 450 hours of content see you next year for your diploma 🙂
I don't know I think there are plenty of stuff we can do like each student must have a blog to introduce his history with poker and goals, running quizz every week or have a topic to discuss each week and implement(this is good for the forum to have more interactive discussions.)
It was some of my initial thought but we can imagine many things like the student has to post 1 hand per week and it will reviewed by other student and also a pro. by interactive I mean not to be alone with all this content but share any comments, views on the game ect ect…
Thanks Foucault, I'm looking forward to your new contents it is always a good news when your vids coming up especially your way of making it!
I'm a little bit done with all the batch of hand reviews vids and some stuff that makes us thinking about the game, and implement something on our side, or come back to the basics we have to master is something that miss

I have really enjoyed the TPE U offerings so far. The organization of the material has given a focus to my studies instead of randomly looking at videos that I think might help. The goals have helped keep my attention and given me something to work towards as well. Its always refreshing to see people trying to innovate rather than just keep offering more of the same.

All right, liking the concept so far, but PLEASE address this criticism:
You are 0% complete with TPE University Courses.
Dat english… It just doesn't read well at all. It's just not natural. Please change it. “You have completed 0% of the TPE University Courses” would be so much better. Your version hurts my eyes and I want to bash the monitor in when I read that.
Looks real nice otherwise.

Thanks so much! We will continue to build on it as well, hopefully taking in to account as many suggestions from you guys as we can. This is a foundation for what will hopefully continue to build in to something even bigger and better!
So happy to see that so many people are getting alot out of TPEU and the early feedback has been fantastic. I want to give a shoutout to everyone who had a hand in seeing this project through and to all the pros who make the content that we so enjoy here at TPE that ultimately gave us TPE U so a whole hearted thanks to you all.

Hello,
really liking the idea of TPE university, I am studying hard. Have a question though: how many questions do you need to get correct in order to pass a course? Also the fields where you should write you answers in – are these fields like sensitive for broader answers or not? I mean alot of the time i do not know if i should write in “c-bet” or “cbet” or “continuation bet”.
Thanks in advance,
d4Kr

Was wondering the same thing…
Great Question guys, to Stay consistent through all of the content and quizzes any answers to quiz questions will follow a dash pattern ie. 3-bet, 4-bet, 5-bet, C-bet
