Badabing was telling me he heard Heinz in an interview (inGerman) about the heads up hand where he check-raised the river with 2 pair. He said he was trying to get Staszko to fold the jack, but that he also thought he could get value against a worse 2 pair kind of hand! He also said that looking back he didn't think Staszko would ever fold the jack. So at the time he was raising to get value from worse hands AND to get the better hand to fold!

heres the interview for all those who speak german:

its not 100% clear to me what he means, cause he says he hoped that staszko would fold a jack there but he thinks its also a great spot to check raise for value?

he talked about this hand on the 2p2 pokercast as well. he said at the time he thought he could get stasko to fold a jack, but in hindsight he prolly couldn't.

i thought the most interesting hand heads up was when he floated the turn with air (i think he had 72o) when stasko turned the full house, but stasko then led river and allowed heinz to fold. heinz said he would have emptied the clip if stasko checked the river as well, so that single moment could have changed the winner.
