liked the podcast, good stuff.
bigdog tilted me a little though – you cant say “literally every time” and then qualify it by saying no not every time later in the same podcast!

In all fairness, the first two times he says “every single time,” he is saying that he would check every time, not that the villain would bet every single time. He did continue by saying they always bet or that he doubles up every time, but I found this to be just a common exaggeration which then got taken literally. So he had to clarify later that the villain could check back.
I don’t think he expects us to believe that he actually doubles every time, never getting sucked out. Of course precision of speech is always valuable.
I think the bravado suits Casey's persona. Too bad the bravado doesn't play on Bovada. (I got a million of these.)
Seriously, this podcast hit at the perfect time for another reason, in that I've been listening to it on my way to jury duty this week. The problem is the trial has another four days, and I only have 9 minutes of the podcast left. I guess I'll listen to the new Thinking Poker for the rest of the way.

I also was surprised that Bigdog kept saying that ” I double here every time”. and as derSchwatrz says , this is a very common exaggeration among a lot of poker players. They say things like ” I am always C betting here” when they are not. Another exaggeration is the “I am always ahead here”. These blanket statements can be very misleading for the average poker player who is trying to improve.
While I am ranting, I find it funny that Mark has an opinion of how he would play a hand but he always comes around to agreeing with Casey.
Having said that, these Podcasts are my favourite part of TPE and I really look forward to them and hate when there is big gaps between them.
Where/how can I get my hands/eyes on the SHRPO live stream that the first hand discussed comes from?
More generally – I'm trying to find strategically/educationally useful live streams to watch. If anyone has suggestions of specific events or if there's a forum or thread somewhere devoted to discussing tournament live streams, let me know…
