Anyone have experience pre-registering vs registering in person?

Reason I ask is I may not be able to fly in till 11pm night before the Monster Stack and wondering if pre-registering will help vs trying to register when I get there and the event starts the next morning. Any idea when the registration closes each night? I imagine this event having insane lines…

Thanks!

Pre-reg is pretty smooth, and the staff I dealt with were awesome. Any questions I had, they answered and there was no issues. I'm pretty sure they will be on the top of their game for pre-reg, with the Collosus event and all. They allow you to pre-reg for all 4 flights of that one!

Awesome thanks. I read that the WSOP cage is open 24 hrs a day, so it sounds like I can pre-reg and then complete the registration in person even if I land after midnight the night before.

If you are staying at the Rio, that's not a bad idea. If you are staying anywhere else, it's another stop and probably another hour less of sleep you are going to get. Just a consideration, you are likely going to want to be super well rested for the event. It's, hopefully, going to be a long few days for a few of us!

Staying at Bally's down the road (couldn't pass up the free room). Planning on just taking cab from airport right to the Rio, finishing the pre-reg and then take the shuttle or another cab to Bally's, but def understand your point on getting some sleep
