In a nutshell, started the Day 2a with 17275…. Got very little in the way of playable hands.

Level 6: 250/500 ante50…… notable hands.

Open KTo BvB and take the pot down.

Open 99 from UTG to 1200 and MP (older guy, with a big stack) 3bets to 4200….. folds around to me I have 26xBB's behind and decide to lay it down…. I'd been super tight all level and hardly played a pot.

Folds to me, I open QJo from CO and SB (big stack 80K) jams All in (Big Blind had around 35K, who folds) and I fold.

UTG+1 opens to 1300, folds around to me on the button, I have around 23xBB's…. with AQs and jam, everyone folds……

Finish the level with 11.5K

Level 7: 300/600 ante75

During the first hour of this level, I'm down to around 9600… No spots thus far.

My busto hand was pretty ugly…..

300/600 ante75
level, UTG+1 (big stack) raises, MP2 (Bigger stack) 3bets (players name is Mads Wissing and finished 25th in last years Main Event)….. I'm in
the Big Blind with QQ and 9600 in chips and shove….. UTG+1 folds and
MP2 calls, he has JJ

Board runs out:

8742 ………… JACK on the river….. BUGGER, game over. Cruel way to bust the Main Event. frown

Lee Childs was on a table 2 to my left, so got the chance to say hi!!!!

Cheers

SouthPaw.

brutal way to go out, but as long as you feel like you played well, that is all you can do.

Next year!
