I have really brought my MTT game to a new level since joining TPE and watching the big dog video's:

1st Place in a Sands Bethlehem, PA bounty tourney out of 92 runners

1st Place in a Sands Bethlehem, PA bounty tourney out of 89 runners

7th Place in the July 7th Rio Deep stack out of 865 runners

73rd place in the WSOP Main Event

Thank you TPE and I am so sorry I couldnt wear a patch when you asked me too.  i had a few pro's and they kept calling me a luckbox, amateurs can go far in this, etc.  I had Rob Salaburu on day 3, Noah Schwartz on day 5 and the funniest thing.  This player had the same name and actually looks like the play Oncommand.  He says it is not him but he is a well known internet player.  He came up to me at a break and started asking about how I could play a hand if he 3 bet instead of flatting.  I just looked at him and said, “what's a 3 bet?”  LMAO.  End of conversation.  I use my age to my advantage when I can.  I didn't wear the patch on day 5 because Noah Swartz was goign on and on about how lucky I am.  WTF, he just didn't know I was big dogged trained.  You steal my blinds from the hijack 5 rounds in a row , you are going to get repoped when I have 2-5 suited and show you to rub it in.

The sad part is I was chip leader at dinner break on day 5 and should have done must better.  I am going to double down and watch even more videos.

and just took 12th out of 157 runners in last nights Parx 100 + 20.

Everyone has about 130K.  Almost event distributed.  Blinds are a laughable 6K-12K.  I am in the BB.  MP open shoves, cutoff reshoves.  I look down and see AA.  Snap call.

MP Q-10 diamonds.  Cutoff A-8 Spades.

Flop is 10-X-X with two spades.  Turn is another X spades and river is another 10.

LMAO.  Out.  Laughter since I was the only one who didn't want to chop.  Cheers as i walk away and the donks arrange an 11 man chop.

Oh well, get em next time.

73rd out of 6300+ players, in the WSOP main event. you cant go that deep just on luck. maybe once in a few thousand times, but im sure you played some good poker. maybe you got a little lucky, but everyone who gets that deep in a field that big has their fair share of luck. play ur game and only listen to constructive criticisim, like the feedback from TPE.

good luck in your future games, and endeavors.  you represented TPE patch or no patch.

Amazing, Amazing run, and nice picture on WSOP.com. Brutal hand against Maxx Coleman (presuming that was you), but think you should have three bet your aces against someone as agg as him, as he would have 4 bet his hand and folded to your 5 bet.

Robert, I know we all said how great a run you had and we mean it, but I just looked back at your bust out hand.

The SB blind ships it in front of you and you snap him off OR call for your tourney life w/ K2cc.  Were you in tilt from the AA hand?  Just curious.

Thanks.  Yeah.  Tried to get a little too tricky for my own good again Maxx.  There was a short stack in the cutoff just itching to get his chips in.  about 5 bb.  i was hoping if I flatted this raise, it would induce a shove there.  Also, at the time Maxx was new to the table and I did not have time to look him up.

Was not on tilt.  I thought this through before calling.  I even checked how many were left, knowing if I folded I moved up the pay jump.

This was sb vs bb.  K high had to be good against his range.  It was a deliberate thought out call.  I was ahead.  58 to 42.  Just didn't hold.

WOW Robert, so you knew if you FOLDED you would move UP in money and STILL called w/ K2???

Maybe I'm in the wrong or in the minority, but I think that's even more of a reason why you should have folded.  It's the Main Event and you have 10/9bb's still, not the Tues Turbo at Parx.  If you were the sb and JAMMED on him, OK.  But he jammed on you.  Just wish you hadn't.  Obv you were in the zone.  The AA hand is tough.  More tourney experience and I think that's an easy fold in that spot.

But i'm sure you have talked about those two hands to friends and others. What a great run.  I can only hope to have a run like that in years to come.

Well, ………..  Robert, I've played with you a few times at Borgata and Parx.  I'm sure you'll continue to improve and make more scores.  I'm a serious rec player and was happy to find out that a rec player like me from BORG/PARX made a SERIOUS run in the WSOP Main.  Either way, I'm sure you are happy with your run and will be back next year.

Live and learn.  I did from my day 2 bust.

CONGRATS Sir
