Think this sheet will be helpful, schedule etc. for every series this summer…
If you want to calculate your buy-ins just put an ‘x’ next to the event you want to play and everything will be calculated at the bottom of the sheet.
This is INCREDIBLY useful for planning a summer schedule. (Did u make it?)
THANKS.

I personally would skip the daily tournaments and play some of the smaller events. You get way more for you money and shots at bigger cashes.
This is a well run series and is full of fish:
Binions also has a good series:
I will be playing WSOP sattys 5/29 – 5/31 while I am at the Gold Coast and then some $125 tournies at the Nugget 6/1 – 6/2 since I will be staying at the Las Vegas Hotel and Casino for the weekend. After that I will rent a room in someone's house near the Rio and grind sattys all summer.
Listening to the WSOP prep podcast and checking the twitter feed, which is filled with nothing but “Just got to Vegas” tweets, and I gotta say, I'm super jealous of you guys who are there. I can't wait to get out there. It makes crappy days at work a little more difficult because I can't think of anything but getting out there. Good luck to anyone playing the 5K and all the events this weekend, I really wanna hear about some TPE bracelets/trophies this year. Hope to be able to get up with some of you. GLGL!!

Hi guys! will be back in vegas june 9th, after a quick trip to Dominican Republic. I would like to offer ALL TPE members in vegas at any point in the summer a deal on food and drinks I have worked out at my former place of work:
BLUE MARTINI
I have a hospitality card available for all TPE members that will offer you 1/2 off food and drinks all summer long. 24/7 at this place of business.
it's a very nice establishment & Casey, KB, DannyN13 etc. can tell you it's a lot of fun.
Looking forward to seeing some old friends and meeting some new TPE members this summer.
Much love guys and good luck.

Wil be there starting June 21, how does one take advantage of the half food/drink special? 😀 Thanks!

Hey guys, probably should have asked to be added to the twitter list before I got to Vegas, haha (@EatABagOfDonks). Anyways, cashed in my first WSOP event on Sunday! Event #18, $1K NLHE. Just a min cash, but I'll take it.
Congratulations Donks!
We should all be so fortunate.
Now go spin that up, Chirp!

I'm headed out in a few weeks to hopefully satellite into the Main Event. Any suggestions the best way to get in, and which videos here will help me out? I'm thinking either the $500 mega or just fire the STS's.
If you are particularly good at SNGs – i.e. you have the short-handed skills necessary to close – then you should opt for that route. A lot of the variance in this proposition is simply who ends up at the table you happen to register for. So if you think you're better than most people at this tournament variety, it's a no-brainer. Quick and easily repeatable.
For someone who has most of their experience at MTTs, super-satellites have to be a better option because, although you need to outlast more villains, you are NOT required to win all the chips to win the seat. Correct strategy in the “mega” will require good stack-size awareness and dramatic gear-shifting, so there will be people making all sorts of wrong adjustments.
Whichever path you follow, your long-run target-event discount will be equal to your theoretical “edge” on the field. So it all depends where you see your edge coming from.
Personally, I always prefer a satellite proposition with more seats awarded, since I think I will make better decisions than my competition as the bubble approaches…
