Ok – so major success for me, I've managed to download universal replayer and found my HH's and managed to get them into the replayer and managed to play through some tourneys and work pick some spots I want to post (which for me is a HUUUUUUGE blow in my ongoing fight with technology)

HOWEVER Tech comes back with the killer blow of TPE hand converter not recognising the hand 🙁 anyone had this or combatted it?

Thanks

Are you taking the hand from the Universal replayer then using the TPE hand convertor?  I think the TPE hand converter was designed to work directly from PS, FT, etc. Copy/Paste hand in response and I will try it on my end, see if I can figue it out for you.

Yeah I'm clicking export HTML and then copy and pasting it but it's not working.

Thanks Praetor, I'll do it tomorrow when i'm at home.

The converter is designed to turn hand histories from poker sites into a format that the page can read…in a sense it's creating it's own HTML.  What you are doing is confusing it. smile

Try clicking on the HTML button next to the converter button and post what the replayer gives you there instead.  That might do it.  If not send me the output from the replayer and i'll try to get it to work and tell you what to do.

Like RFB menioned, the hand converter is designed for text based information.  I know this seems all confusing and stuff but we will make a tech genius of you yet.  Look for the folder the poker sites save your HH to, specifically look for the PS folder. If you are not sure where to look do a search for it, I assume you have windows and can find the search in the start menu. Open the folder and select a game, it will be a .txt file. Each file will have numerous hands that look like what I pasted below that is what you want to paste into the hand converter. This is the long way to do it, but I just wanted to show you. Once you get this far I will give you easier stepssmile but it is important to know what to look for, plus if you can do it the hard way, you will have no problem with the easy way.

Praetor,

Thanks for that mate, really aprreciate the time taken.

I am able to get the hands from my HH folder into the Hand history convertor if I put it straight in or copy it straight from Pstars, however when I take them into Universal replayer to review the tournaments on a weekly basis I wanted to pick interesting hands and out them in the forum but there doesnt seem a way to do it without trawling through my folders to try and find a particular hand? I was hoping it could export straight from universal replayer and into the forum?

Cheers

I will play around with the universal replayer this Saturday and see what I can do. Shitty schedule at work this week, have done nothing with poker. cry
