Any of you have a problem viewing the fourums with firefox 4? Trying viewing them but they seem to be squished up on the left hand side of the screen. IE 8 works fine though.

use chrome instead 😀

seriously though, its probably the forum code not supporting some new feature of FF4 (preator will prolly have a better explanation)

that stuff usually gets updated pretty quickly

I use Firefox but just checked my version is the previous 3.6, I have not been updated to 4 yet.  Can you take a screen shot of the problem, so I can see it? It is probably like Benny said, 4 has just been released from beta and I know it is having other issues.

Try shift + reload button at the same time, this will redo the cache on the website. Sounds like when Firefox updated it was still using the cache from the previous version. I think I know what you mean by the squished look now. Shift + reload/refresh button and then exit Firefox and come back in and see if it is normal.

I will download it and play around with it, and hopefully find a solution than reloading each time. Once I do I will post it back here. I am very fond of Firefox, have it linked between all my computers bookmarks etc.

Thanks for the heads up.  I tested in FF4 and it looks ok on my machine.  I checked with the forum software developer and there haven't been reported issues but I am going to turn it over to our own developer to test thoroughly.  It must be a scripting issue that is causing a conflict.

The same issue is happening with me for FireFox 4, the forum threads are jammed on the left hand side of the page….. Hitting refresh loads the page normally.

I'll post one up shortly RFB…. It's on my other PC and I'm currently involved in a tourney on this PC, which doesn't have FF4.

Ok thanks.  We'll keep digging.  I'm wondering if we should wait until FF4 is in official release.  It's tricky because I tested on a bunch of configs with FF4 and can't replicate it.

Hi RFB,

Since your last post, I've still been getting the 'distorted' pages……….. but in the last 24-48 hours I haven't seen any. So not sure if there has been a change somewhere but atm things are operating normally. I'll keep an eye on it and let you know if it returns.

Appreciate the feedback.
