Hey guys, I'm looking to add a 22″-24″ moniter to my laptop and was wondering if I need to be concerned with video/graphics card or any other problems that might arise (hopefully none obv). Here's the info I have if needed. Any advice would be great thx.

Windows Vista Home Premium with service pack 2
Mobile Intel(R) 4 series express chipset family
lol, just seen praetor's post. I think it should be alright though I still don't know anything on the graphics card.

If your computer has a HDMI or a VGA out, then you should not have a problem. I believe your model has a VGA out, so you should be good. Just make sure the monitor you buy can handle a 60hz refresh rate because you could run into problems if you get a monitor that handles 120hz or faster. The video card in conjunction with that processor usually was 60hz. Most monitors handle multiple frequencies, but it is better to be safe than sorry.
