Played event1 and came to understand that its just a lot of varience. You need some cards and playing decent doesnt cut it. Add up the accomodation and food, and some money you spend on stupidity, it will be a lot.

I will personally give live a bit of a break.

Jamie bagged a bunch and is doing well.

I played and busted 8 hands into day 2 to a clown I busted in day 1, lol.  **** my poker life.    AQ, FLop an A, Turn a Q, he rivs a miracle flush w/ 53.  Came back from 550 chips at 200/400bb.  bagged 38k.  Was very happy with my play.

Event 1, I got a clown to stick it all in w/ J high vs my AK on the flop for like a 80k pot before dinner.  He hits a J on riv.

It's amazing how you PRO's stay pro's.  The bad beats have been unreal lately.  I'm only playing part time live and online.  Crazy, lol.  I can only LOL.

But, I will continue to get it in GOOD and let fate take care of it.

It is just unbeliavable the plays I have seen on my table. There was only one decent guy that was playing good.

One guy was always overbetting the pot with his hands. Im talking about betting 7k into a 3k pot etc.

Or like 4 betting with K5 from hi-jack vs vs.

So what do you do with these kind of players that dont know what they are doing? As they dont know what they are doing, it is also very hard for you to put them on ranges or make sense out of their bets.

The common sense is to wait for good hands and put the pressure. But then when they call you anyway and you miss the board, you are in the dark on later streets.

And for example on event 1, I barely got good cards and when I got them, I totally missed the flop and tried to outplay them, but at some point they push you all in and nothing you can do about that. Thats how I lost event 1, slowly and painfully.

Event 1 is different cause it's more of a TURBO. I hate the structure to most of the small GTD's . It allows for more BS play and luck. When you have a slower structure like in the Main, the clowns will have their moments, but it's going to catch up to them and did to the two clowns playing 70-80% of the hands at my tbl. They were friends and played with each other a lot at Foxwoods. Plyaing everything from K3o to AA, spewing chips all day. Ex. Dealer deals to the clown, flips over 2c. Gives him another. He's in the SB, he buddy opens, another guy flats. The guy starts talking to the other and says now I have to play since my one card was taken away. The flop 822………. org raiser CBETS, mid guy folds, and NOW…… clown raises big….. and starts talking to his buddy and laughing. his buddy folds and Clown laughs at table and shows up the 5 2 off…….. Yes, 52o LOL, How can you really play vs clowns like that. You have to wait them out kinda. That guy should have had 200k at the end of the night. His buddy busted, partly because of me cracking his AA (AIPF) w/ QT, lol. KQT flop. Oops, sorry about that.   the CLOWN ended with 85k or so,   He had 135k and should have had 175k.  just spewy.

Someone who feels me out 🙂 Thats why I am more leaning towards online as mentioned above. You fire up 6-8-10 whatever tables. When you get sucked out by one of these clowns, you are still alive on the other ones. As long as you are not totally doomed that day, you make one of them.

Live is a lot more exciting though…

I had planned on playing a bunch of the GTD's but just couldn't do it.  Wanted to save my money for Parx next week where the structures are MUCH better (45 min levs…. 30k, 40k, 50k starting stacks)

I love Borgata, but I can't take the clowns coming and playing douchbags poker in these Turbo type games.  I have to admit, I want them at my table's, just not in a turbo where they are going to get lucky more then most.  Eventually playing like a tard catches up to you.  I know I'm not good at poker, but I'll keep playing like I do when I get it IN GOOD and lose to the standard 2, 4 or 7 outers, lol.  At least online, I'm relaxing in my shorts and t-shirt in my great chair.

Yeah you need to get lucky quicker than them. I mean I dont need to get lucky actually. I am always getting it in when I am good. So this is how it goes, I hit top top and dominate. Start valueing on the flop. By the time we reach the river, I am already happy I got a lot of value in, until the reraise. Then call to see he hit the shitty kicker. I mean shitty like 3,4,5,6 or so 🙂 Early game on a turbo like tourney like that, you just cannot afford to lose on the turn like that.

This is what I call value betting myself. I am doing all the work for the donks. Creating a good sized pot and get sucked out on the river.

Anyway, what is on PArx? I used to go there a lot for cash games. Know most of the regs there. Sometimes women go there in groups and sit at the same table. Thats my favorite 🙂

Btw, Jamie always make it to the money. I have already seen her playing multiple times in the same tournament. I guess she plays most of the borgata tourneys.

I was out there playing the main also.  Made day 2 with half starting stack (20bbs) but busted within the first couple of orbits similar to you Master P (hehe).  Shoved 22 in late position over loose opener and ran into JJ in the SB.  Immediately tilt-entered event 21 $560 hold em and managed to final table it despite not really being into playing it until like level 10.  Shot a couple of bullets at the 100k guarantee yesterday but no dice.  Pretty much broke even for the trip.

I did see twitter & blog of your FT, was hoping you'd have the trophy.  Hope to see you at Parx my friend.  Feel like I'm back to playing well after trying to be a supaStar and PUNT a few stacks, lol.  glgl
