Event 1 out in 26th A9o < AKs prize $420
Event 2 busted on a squeeze play with A9s < AQo
Event 3 busted early with AKo < TT bvb raising war for 50bb.

Gl loxii I am still in event 1 as well 13/34 at the break. Had a nice stack in event 2 as well, but punted it calling a bizarre 40 bb flop shove with top pair of queens on the flop; villan rolled over aces, have no idea why he played it that way but he certainly got me!
Didn't play event 3. Gl to rumsey as well.

I dont remember it. If you mean when I was UTG and jinxy called me in the BB I had AK. I made a post aboout it in the strat forum.

Yeah, that was the hand. That guy entered the FT with heaps of chips, but I tok most of them away from him. Currently 1/6 with about 40% of the chips in play.

yah busted around 260 in the PM #2 sucked really felt like that was something i could do well in if i could have kept a stack near the money

mike got rivered twice HU. absolutely caged the guy in the last hand and got him to call off for all the chips with 10% equity and one card to come…bink.
2nd place for 9K after depositing just enough to play the event an hour before the event started. boss.

Thanks, Loxxii! Would love to ship of course, but the guy who won was an excellent player, and it's my biggest single score in some time, so I'm delighted. And I actually only deposited $100, deciding to play just the $11 Event 2 and grind some cash games to have $ for the other events. But I played some cash HORSE with the rest and ran that up to over the buy in ($215) for event 1, so I late reg'd at the 60/120 blind level. And the rest is history!

I will add that mike told me he was inspired to play the event after seeing me post about it on the TPE forums, so I think we can all give ourselves a small pat on the back.
This is a wonderful community and now that I know it's done some good, I will strive to be even more active in it.

Thanks, all! Loxxii, looks like they have a bit more to play for here than just the bracelet I received for OSS!
FYI, My Carbon ROI, after my first day of play on the site, is 4,068%, per OPR. Don't think I'll be able to keep that up.

I think I saw that. With mike's two HU and two more from randoms, that makes 5 times I have seen a guy get rivered by 3 outs or less in 2 days. Ah yes, poker is alive and well. I love it.

I busted #7. Working on #9 now. Middle of the pack. I feel like I am playing some of the best poker of my life. I almost shipped a $530 coupon but took 3rd for a few bucks. Hell, if I can do that a couple more times I wont need the coupon.
Vids before the grind and podcasts during is a winning formula.

Hope you did better this evening! I arrived home late so only played the stud event; bricked in spectacular fashion losing queens full to aces full and five card flush to rivered full house on successive hands!
May not be able to playe the turbo tomorrow night due to other comittments, but probably live for the other two…

Don't know if I will be able to play the main as I have some plans that day, but I'll try. Bricked out today but looking forward to the slate tomorrow, especially the HORSE event.
Did have a fairly deep run in the last event last night;finished 48th out of 954 runners, which is why I am top 15 on the leaderboard. Probably wont be tomorrow after the 0-3, though.

blew another big stack. sickening. im not playing tomorrow. i will play everything on sunday. i really want to bink a top 5 in something, but i cant wait to get back to my normal mtt schedule. im going to have fun at the tables on sunday.

Railed you in the 55 rebuy when I noticed you had a good stack. I was 20 bbs at the time, made a nice comeback, but butally bubbled two spots from the money 3 bet jamming A-J suited from the sb against an agg cutoff only to have the bb wake up with J-J. No ace to be found, though he did have to sweat a flush draw turn. Oh well, not playing to min cash!
Also finished 9 short of the money in the Horse tourney, but what might have been a disappointing evening may not end that way, as I am 9/98 in the PM $10+1 15K, which drew a massive field of 1,464 runners. So, at a minimum , I will gain valulable leaderboard points (currently 13th).
