Playing the Big $11 for 4 h now, original field is 9774 players.

I ran very good and got away with some light 3 and even 4betting.

Got a tourney M of about 24 (~60 BB).

Just managed to donk away 20 BB. Need to focus again.

I'll keep you posted.

172./261

Had TT in EP. Raised and got called by the BB. Flop was 4J9 rainbow. Cbettet, got called.  Turn was a 3. Decided to twobarrel. Got called again. River was a 9. Decided to check call a small bet there. Lost 1/4 stack to JT there.

No more good spots for 3bets, last 50 hands I didn't pick up a single good hand excpet for 33 wich got shoved over, with about 28 BB i had to fold I guess(?).

My table is pretty sick. Every single one of my 3bets is answered with a shove. Down to 22 BB, looking for a spot to 3betshove. No chance so far with premiusm like 82o all the time.

30./104

Got 45 BB again. Nitted it up a little. Found some good hands again as well as two nice 3bet spots.

Getting really tired, 6h into the tournament and it's 2 o'clock in the night in Germany. Gonna drink some tea now.

Wish me luck! Field is getting tougher, still half of the guys are nits. : )

Was 12./55, picked up AK, ran into QQ and lost.

Now I'm down to 13 BB and 47./54 – Sad. But that's how it goes I guess.

Avg stack is 540'000 and I got 220'000 chips left. Let's see if we get an other good flip…

Finished 44. Had 44 in SB against EP limper. He had 88. Shoved and lost to his set on flop. ; )

Man. I finished this a few month ago 28./12000. I want to FT this! Don't play it often, though.

I wonder now if my AK push was wrong. I know Dan Harrington uses to call a 3bet with it from time to time to pot control and decide how to proceed on the flop depending on the action.

So the question to the pros: With a stack of about 52 BB and AKo in EP, should I just have flatted villans 3bet to my raise? He had about 38 BB and had 3bet me a few times before. But this time I was quite sure he had something since I already 3bet shoved 2 times on him with AKs and KK with a snap fold from him. I mean I am pretty deep in the tourney with the possiblity for some better spots to chip up later.

Do you guys always push AKo to increase your FT 1. place chance in case of a flip win or do you prefere to avoid that flip? I think next time I will just call in the same spot. Any ideas from you guys please?

Nice run man,

I think if your bankrolls quite small, qualifying in $2.70 sit n gos is very easy. I qualify for the big 8.80, big 11 and big $22 most days. Its much easier than having $40 swings every day to get in all of the above tournaments for less than $10. It means you can play them much more often and a higher percentage of your cash is actually profit.

The micro sit and go satelittes are the easiest form of poker on the planet. This is probably in the wrong section of the forum but playing these satelittes has saved me a lot of money.
