4th for $429

2.5x raised my sb second time in a row w KQo w the intention to c ai. got reshoved by bb who held J6o and got there. think i played the hand fine or does anyone think a straight shove wouldve been better? i saw villain make a move w 7 left where he raised and c a 3bet oop w J9s and donkshoved a 224 flop vs 33 and binked a J on the river; HE WAS ALSO PLAYING PRETTY agg overall.

I sucked out twice for nearly my tourny life, once w 99 vs JJ at the last two tables and w AQ vs AK at the FT. so i'm pretty lucky to have made 4th i guess.

Nice score!

I think your too deep to os bvb

You played the hand fine as long as you know the type of player villain is (which it sounds like you definately did)

I mean if he's shoving J6o he's also shoving like every K and Q that you have dominated so your line was optimal although higher variance

I'm sure you kept in mind that winning that 60/40 (or a lot more often 70/30) will give you a big CL 3 handed and 1st place pretty much secure!

Keep up the good work and it'l come your time soon.

tx guys.

@hapetimes: what u said. villain would 3bet his stronger hands as he had done before and got folds and as i had folded to 3bets before at the FT so I was pretty sure he was restealing. high variance it was but i wasnt folding a hand as strong as KQ bvb against him.

ive already taken down a few tournies and chopped a few 2-5handed where i got out as top winner mostly, before joining tpe and as a member of tpe 😉

but id like to win bigger scores than $3k and w the help of tpe's members im sure we'll all get some.

@mmfitter: bb didnt call ai, he reshoved.

tx for the support ya'll, TPE!!!
