ok so i busted the 4th place and went into 3 handed with like 700k to 280k to 280k

I look up both the other players and see they are both losing players with pretty absurdly bad ROI's deep in the double digits

They both ask me for a deal and i agree

We call the mod and the other 2 say – “even chop” and i say ummmm no sorry guys

I have CL and more equity (and a positive ROI lol) and i ask the mod for chip chop numbers

They change from like 1290 each to 1550, 1350, 1220 or something like that and they both say NO lolol… 1 double and im CL they say

I say fine lets go

Anyway long story short, 1st hand i jam KT and get there over AJ

Then final hand i 3bet jam As6s into 9s9d

Flop is Ts8s7s!! and cheer then balk that he still has 1 out!

hapetimes holds and shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiips the $1830 or so…

yay it feels good to be back on the train

Thanks TPElaugh

love your analysis of the situation and the fact that you didnt bend based on your opinion of the players strong chop skills imo and great win in the end

thanks ttwist

yeah i always make it a point to look up players at final 2 tables so i know who im messing with

i thought it was stupid how they wanted an even chop and then declined even the chip chop given none of them had had a cash this big before

tbh im actually regretting calling the mod for a deal anyway given the situation i was in

theres an idea! someone should write an article about chopping and how the different variables affect the prize pool etc

ah just a thoughtlaugh
