Just busted out in 17th

check the hand below.

KK vs J10s on J high flop – Turn 8, river Q for runner runner straight lol. 450k pot

No worries though. Got him to put it in really bad. I always said if your playing good poker it SHOULD take a bad beat (or two) to get knocked out of a tournament.

Absolute Poker No Limit Hold'em Tournament – t2500/t5000 Blinds + t500 – 9 players

Hand Conversion courtesy of Tournament Poker Edge

ZIG0101 (MP2): BB = 9.5, t47436

DETROIT_MADE (CO): BB = 35.9, t179320

METASPLOIT (BTN): BB = 44.0, t220102

MMJ723 (SB): BB = 31.2, t156191

JAMOWL (BB): BB = 28.6, t142762

DIKAIOS (UTG): BB = 24.6, t123190

KINGOFOMAHA (UTG+1): BB = 48.4, t241832

AUDIOPULSE (UTG+2): BB = 31.3, t156702

ALLINTHEO (MP1): BB = 13.8, t69029

Pre Flop: (t12000) METASPLOIT is BTN with K of spades K of hearts

1 fold, KINGOFOMAHA calls t5000, 1 fold, ALLINTHEO calls t5000, 2 folds, METASPLOIT raises to 24,595, 2 folds, KINGOFOMAHA calls t-5000, 1 fold

Flop: (t17000) J of spades 9 of diamonds 5 of diamonds (2 players)

KINGOFOMAHA checks, METASPLOIT bets 45,000, KINGOFOMAHA raises to 201,150, I call the 150k (the hh converter is not working for some reason)

Turn: (t17000) 8 of diamonds (2 players)

River: (t17000) Q of spades (2 players)

Final Pot: t17000

METASPLOIT shows K of spades K of hearts (One pair, kings)

Meta…ur on the right track depositing on UB and grinding micro-small stakes there to build up ur BR.

Smaller sized fields=less variance

Pretty decent guarantees

Fields are by far softer there than Stars or Tilt

…but dont tell anybody else tho Wink

I used to play back on UB a few years ago and that's where I made all my money. Had a talk with the g/f last night and we both decided I should go back to the site that brought me alot of success for a small stakes mtt / sng player. The smaller fields are exactly what I need right now to get my confidence up and keep the variance low.

Played 2 mtts on UB so far and cashed em both. Hopefully this is a sign of things to come. 🙂
