Here are a couple of notes, caveat emptor!
#61 – With BB being so short he probably should be shoving
which is going to deny you the odds for set mining but price you in where you
are going to be flipping for 1300 chips. Probably not worth it.
#73 – Your raise gave him 4-1 odds to call, just shove.
#90 – UTG is desperate with only 3BBs, you are getting 2.7 –
1 to call, pretty much worth it with any two.
#106 – Cbet Flop?
#160 – Shove pre.
Well played and congrats!
these are the hands I only thought were worth commenting on. Nice deep run the JJ hand at the end sucks but we did have a few nice suck outs of our own. You seemed to play pretty well in my opinion. Thanks for the HH and hopefully you get something out of this.
Hand 2 (KJs) fold from EP this early in the tourney
Hand 6 (76) dont hate the limp on the button with so many in and being deep. Not sure I like the call on the flop but you spike on the turn and extract value
Hand 61 (22) I dont think its profitable to limp 22 from EP this late alsot he BB is so short he is more than likely to shove and you have to call which sucks if others limp behind. In this case he did not but thats usually what happens. The hand gets checked to the river and the SB make a min bet I think you have to call getting 5 to 1.
Hand 73 (KTs) I like the 3bet but when he 4 bets and we shove we are almost never ahead…nice suck out.
Hand 96 ( AQ) I dont know if I like betting that flop against two bigger stacks who have posiition because I really have just a gut shot and over that may not be clean. If one of them decides to raise the flop its gonna suck. I probably check/call flop depending on the action.
Damn JDOG I didn't even know this was up! Thanks for the comments guys. I had no notes to add to this HH as I really wanted to see what people thought about my play.
jschilling – yes I really should have called that w/ just abut any two.
whoisjgalt:#73… DUH! Giving him odds is an invitation to giving myself trouble.
JDOG: Hand #6 – If I remember correctly, I thought I had the outs to call that flop w/ 2 streets left.
#61 (& whoisjgalt.. ask Ayn…) – agreed. I have a REAL problem playing 22 & 33. I need to remember that to set mine I at least need gr8 implied odds, if nothing else. But opening with 22, especially OOP? I often toss them, especially from the mid-to-late points in tourneys.
#73 – That was an awful play.
#96 – Agreed again.
Again, thank you. And my apologies for being so late checking for this HH critique.
