This is a pretty general question

Is it possible for someone that plays 10-15 hours a week in mostly off peak times to get a stake from someone?

would it be better for someone like this to just try and sell action for individual events rather than seek a stake?

That might be your best bet.  Day before a session or whatever.  Plan out the events you are going to play.  Add them all up and sell shares.

it really depends on how many games you can squeeze into those 10-15 hours

i usually 6-10 table, i think i have been averaging about 120 MTTs a month over the past few months (most of these have been on 888 though where field sizes are in the 80-200 range and tourneys take about 4 hours at most)

at the moment my ABI is $8, but i would love to add some $20-$50 tourneys in, either smaller MTTs or even some 180s.

120 may be okay in some cases, i know I like to see 200+ a month in most cases, but if you keep that ROI at 80% 120 is plenty.  You can respond to my thread if you want, and we can talk more in detail about it.
