thankfully i have never played on lock, but honestly i think we need public comments from both marc and big dog, as well as why TPE is still advertising rakeback for Lock poker…
Hey KingFish –
It appears your account was suspended back in August of last year for missed payments.
We think there may have been a small number of users impacted by a bug in our contact form, but we have fixed that. however, you can email us at support@tournamentpokeredge.com and we can help get your account taken care of.
Sorry for the troubles!

yeah I do, unfortunately.
How I remedy it is first I refresh the page. Then just in case I copy the text I want to input. Then if you get that ajax login page just reload the section and paste your text. (obv. I re-copy it then just in case it happens again).
Brother, it can be a real pain in the ass…you’re not alone. 1 night, I sent the longest most heartfelt and detailed reply, posted with al my love to the tpe Nation (ok I’m going OTT here), and I got the dreaded ajax page.

I get this too. It is like the cookie expires or gets confused or something. Even Chrome saves the password wrong and I have to retype it, like it saving the main log-in page password. This could be a red herring though (I’m a technology supervisor at work, but don’t have a deep understanding of web dev).
Usually I don’t get the redirect to login until I hit “Submit Reply”. Luckily I figured out if I go back and click the post button again it keeps what I typed and I can copy it, then log in, navigate back and paste it. This happens every few posts for me.

This is a test, only a test! If this were an actual emergency I’d be living in Nevada where I could play online poker instead of in Florida where our Governor lost his ass online and decided to keep it illegal.
Still testing, I hate tests…never feel actually prepared even after studying for a few seconds.
I’ve found an error and am helping support by trying to find what caused the error to begin with, so if this gets through have a good laugh, or get disgusted….whatever, I had to make it fun, this is going to take an hour.
Here’s a link to the Donk at my last live game table every time they got a monster:
So a mathematician had constipation…..it’s okay, he worked it out with a pencil in the end.
When I was a kid, we didn’t have all the fancy toys, computer, and the like…. all we had was pot and acid….I mean our imagination.
Here’s a link to our two political parties on break:
they switch depending on who’s in office
Q: What has six wheels and flies?
A: A garbage truck!
This concludes the test, If you get the last answer wrong you fail….
If this insults anybody or anybody finds this offensive in anyway please feel free to run for office.

When I was trying to add a reply, on more than one occasion, the TPE site told me I had to log in first. So I clicked on Member login under “about” tab on the top of the page, it then went to a page that said I was already logged in, and I lost my hand analysis. (an hour of my life *POOF* gone, happened 4 times)
I then went to TPEU “already logged in” and it took me to TPEU page but was the non member page asking Me to join TPE. It is an error in the code and I am working with TPE support to find the problem so others don’t take an hour evaluating and replying to a post under strategy (or any other forum posts), just to loose all the work because the site doesn’t recognize the member as being logged in.
I have been in constant contact with Support for the past 3 days trying to figure it out. This was an attempt to duplicate the error.
As I am quite computer savvy, I first tried clearing my cookies, but the error occurred again.
So I took an hour and made a stupid post trying to replicate what I did when the error occurred, so the webmaster could locate and refine the code so it doesn’t happen to other members.

Ray

What kind of person would I be if I couldn’t help out a community that is helping me,
It happened again yesterday, will try to make a vid of it happening so I can send to support so they can get it to the creator.
This time I just turned on the computer went to TPEU and there was the sign up page. I have the log me in for 2 weeks checked
So I logged in and went back to TPEU and be damned if it didn’t happen again.
I was using the top navigation tabs when it happened.
I’m no expert at coding pages but knowing what I do know I still don’t understand how that could happen.
It’s all good, I still get in there and get to study at TPEU, which incidentally I am finding absolutely fantastic.
Regards,
Ok, I am likely far-off my rocker here but in the long run I believe it’s worth a shot. A few things I would love to happen: 1) I would love to be on a podcast and get ripped apart by all you guys. Sounds weird but I see no better way to improve honestly. 2) Coaching would be amazing and I have a few preferences in mind. What would be more amazing would be free coaching.
So let me throw this out there: Is there any way TPE can host some sort of contest? I know pokerstars can played by everyone for play money. If there’s a way to organize some sort of league for members of TPE maybe top few receive a month free/a few free coaching sessions with the possibility of becoming some of the site Pros horses in the future or whatever unfolds from the league.
I am not claiming to be great or even good at poker, but it would be pretty stellar to be on a podcast, win a few free coaching sessions, and possibly become backed by some Pros. IDK about the backing part but the podcast and coaching sessions sound like a BigMac with a large Coke and large fries to me.

Does anyone still check this thread?
I sent some feedback by email but haven’t received a response.
I joined a couple of weeks ago and I have to say this site desperately needs a big update. I know this site was very popular during the heyday of online poker but now it feels like it’s been left to gather dust. There’s very little theory content, and most of what there is dates back 5 or 6 years. 90% of the content is just hand history reviews, which you can get online to some extent for free. There are pros on the site that haven’t provided content in 7 or 8 years, and in some cases it seems like they just disappeared in the middle of producing content (e.g., Alex Fitzgerald).
I get that the world of online poker isn’t what it once was, but if you’re going to continue charging $25/month for a membership, you need to offer more than an outdated site with a sparsely populated forum and the occasional hand history vid.

Thanks for the feedback! I think there are ebs and flows…lately it has indeed been a lot of HH reviews. We’ll try to up the theory content in the coming months.I’ll get a longer response up now that the holidays are coming to an end. It’s been a crazy few weeks!
Appreciate the response. I’m a big fan of the podcast and some of the content on the site is excellent (particularly from Andrew and Matt Hunt). I just wish there was a lot more content like that. I know it’s partly personal taste, but I find HH reviews to be the least effective method for learning poker strategy for the same reason I don’t bother watching Twitch streamers: it’s like looking for strategy needles in a haystack, watching hours of video in the hopes of picking out a few nuggets of valuable information.
