Hi TPE NATION!!

I would REALLY like to see a video regarding Heads Up Displays. Yes I am aware of the video the RFB put on on using the HUD but it really was just an introduction to HUDs and I would love to see a more in depth analysis of the HUD statistics and how to play according to them.

A “Understanding/Interpreting HUD statistics” video would be nice as I think i'm going to be buying Poker CoPilot (Mac Holdem Manager like program) for Christmas and I would like to sort of understand all the figures, know i'm looking at and WHAT they mean / How to play according to the statistics.

Example – A guy has a VPIP (vol put money in the pot %) of 22 over lets say 100 hands. What does that say aboot (lol) him? Is 22 high? whats 'normal'? 15-18?  Is this guy loose or tight? How should we use this information to our advantage.

Example – A guy has a PFR (pre flop raise %) of 7. Is that 'normal'? whats the average number? if its 17 is that high, does that mean hes aggressive preflop or about average? things like that.

Having a HUD might be helpful but if you have no idea WHAT THE NUMBERS MEAN AND HOW TO UNDERSTAND THEM (not in the literal sence) then its pretty much useless.

I agree with OP. Ive played with a HUD for a couple of years now and I don’t know if I would be profitable without it. It did take me a while to interpret some of the stats and convert them into solid reads that I can exploit. I would have loved some training in that area when I first started using it.

In the meantime it might be a good idea to start a thread in the stategy forum asking about some specific stat interpretation. I would be happy to contribute the sum of my experience and would be interested how others use their stats.

+1

Would love to see an expanded tools video where the pro explains the stats he is using, their importance in the game and his color coding ranges.  Some specific example hands showing specific reads where the stats are useful.  And finally a live sweat of a single tournament where he shows how HUD use flows from early to later stages in a tournament.
