I some times dont know if I should get it in (as the shover or caller) early in tournaments. A vid similar to the AQ/JJ one would help with this.

This would be beneficial imo, although it may be more informative to explore situational play with ‘decent holdings’ e.g. AKs,o; AQs,o; QQ and KK, even AA … i.e., getting max value over multiple streets, relative to effective stacks, board texture, in multiway pots and vs TAGs and LAGS.
During our last TPE HomeGame it was mentioned that there are situations where AK can/should be folded pre… Which is something that I’ve struggled to do…

I guarantee you that you will not lose money overall if you always get AK in pre. Even 100bb deep. Once you get into the 3/4betting war, there is so much money already in the pot that you always get the odds to call – even against a strong range.

Sure, if it goes raise, 3bet, cold-4bet and a 8/5 nit cold-5bet shoves it might be time to lay down AK.

If “never folding AK pre” is your biggest “leak” then you will make tons of money in tournaments cool

That is somewhat true, but you can’t justify the play just because of the dead money in there alone. Otherwise I could 3bet 20x wi th 72o then justify a call on a shove because we are getting odds.

Having said that, you are correct, if this is your biggest leak then you are going fine
