Idk if you guys have ever watched any of the theory vids on cardrunners, but Matthew Janda had some pretty bad ass ones in which he would break down game theory situations (like if viallin 1 3-bets a button open; villain on but needs to 4-bet/call x% of the time for villain 1 to not be making an immidiate profit, then he kinda went through like okay so we need to defend hands like ATo and 9Ts so now of our calling range how many flop c-bets do we need to be calling/raising on certain board textures bla bla and went through some examples using the Flopzilla program)
Anyways it was quite extensive and very interesting, but I'd be curious what the game theory would look like when applicable to mtts; like for example if but is opening like 70% of hands how much would the sb/bb have to be calling/3-betting to make him indifferent to opening the bottom of his range. I'm guessing due to the antes and the fact but will be min opening the results would be sb/bb have to just be like insanely wide. Anyways it'd be interesting to see.
