Road Map To Prepare For WSOP (Main Event)

Hi TPE,

I'd like to see a video/series that focuses on the best way(s) to prepare for the WSOP (with the Main Event being the focal point in mind)

What are the TPE Pro's TIPS for surviving/thriving in the Main Event?

Best online Tournaments that simulate the Main Event? (In terms of skill, structure etc)

Areas of your game to focus on?

The TPE Pro's sharing their thoughts/experiences from the Main Event?

Best way to qualify online?

Deepstack tourney strategy thoughts/ideas.

A listing of things you wish you knew before you played in such a Live tourney

And anything else you think would be beneficial.

Fingers crossed a TPE member can ship the 2011 Main Event laugh

This is a great podcast idea and we'll do this when the first qualifiers are available on PS/FTP.

I think this is a great idea.

However, I think an article might be better than a podcast because you can go into more detail and it would be something someone could go back to as a study tool in preparation.

Last year, I qualified through the steps on FT and had never played a big buy-in tournament, I had never played that deep stacked before. I spend a month just preparing for the differences compared to what I was used to playing. I posted a few questions on 2+2 and received some good feedback, but I had a hard time finding good study resources.

Definitely great ideas. We'll be covering WSOP prep in several formats. It's a big focus for us this year. Thanks for the suggestion!

Lets add a TPE tourney for the Main Event, just TPE members, I am sure that you could get that setup through Stars. I do like the podcast idea as well.
