The podcasts are good, but I think it would be great to have a series of video's.  Where not only is the video great, but he coach is being much more descriptive in his narration.  This will help with 2 things.  Visually impaired people will have access and for us with working eyes can just use it while doing busy work at our full-time jobs listening only and not needing the visual component.

This is much more involved through a long tournament series that it might seem, but it really would push your site to the next level.

i agree that more podcasts would be good, but a visually impaired person had trouble watching a video they would have just as much trouble actually playing poker.
definitely more podcasts though. I have recently heard people some people mention the TPE podcast as “deuce plays” of tournament poker

i would suggest if you guys still work somehow together with dare2dream to make an audioseries about the mental part of the game. this would be really great cause if its made right, this is something you can listen to over and over.

I also like the idea of more audio only stuff for grinding listening material

Jamie started focusing strictly on Golf and not poker so much.  I do like the idea though…might have to do some research on other mental game coaches.

This summer we'll bring the TPE Live podcast back in to full swing and that was is much more informal (and a lot less time consuming to produce) so we will be able to produce it more frequently.  Hopefully at least 3 episodes per week.

we've definitely considered adding some more podcast type content to the mix, but obviously want to make sure the flagship podcasts maintains a certain level of quality.  It is for sure something we will continue to consider though and would love any ideas as far as content goes.

The only thing we dont really want to do is a “news and interview” type podcast as i think there is plenty of that already on the market.

Hey KB

I think what we're trying to say, is not to change your current podcast format, but in addition to those podcasts for members only.

Just like the videos are for members only, would be great to have a series of podcasts for members only, whether it is a live sweat, a hand history review or strategy podcasts

A lot of the theory vids could be converted to audio only content relatively easily I think, maybe that can be an area where members only audio content can be generated, without much extra work from TPE

Perfect timing for the suggestion.  We're brainstorming some new content ideas and will definitely look at this one deeper.

I would also love to see some more content in audio format.  I think alot of the theory stuff would be a great idea.  I listen to podcast all day at work and this would be great.  I have already listened to all the current podcast about 20 times each and still enjoy them, great job guys.

I agree. Keep up the good work though. I do like to listen to the podcast on the way to the casino as well. The more I can listen to while on the road and at work the better.

I will say that I've flirted around with many different poker podcasts and TPE is definitely in the top 2. At times there may not be enough “meat” but I think you guys do a great job of content and flow. I do agree that taking some topics from the theory videos or future videos and doing podcasts would help.

My other favorite podcast, which is based on cash games, will run a podcast from time to time where the host makes notes on every hand he plays in a session and breaks it down. This opens itself up to see how a pro's mindset develops during a session. This also would help us understand what theorys, previous hands, and formed player images the pros found most important during that time.

This could be more difficult to do with tournaments, but you could break it down into sections.

I love how KB and RFB open themselves up and learn from the pros and how the pros will have different approaches to hands and reads. Really great content you all are putting out.

It'd be cool to have some subscribers on the TPE Live at the WSOP for a strategy session.  Subscribers could bring hands to discuss from the various summer tournaments and shoot the shit

Agree. Come up with a catchphrase like TPE Mobile series, and teach us the pokers in our cars, live games, and while we multitable grind.
You guys are already doing it right by making all the vids so easy to load up on an IPAD, but I’m gonna cause an accident one day watching the IPAD propped up in my windshield.

I love the audio content on the site and would love to hear more, whether it's conversions of existing material or new/more frequent podcasts.

However, what I'd also love to see is an interactive podcast or 'radio show' similar to those done on another well-known poker site which I'm not sure I should name. It would be very straightforward to use Skype and have members call in with general strategy questions or topics for discussion with the pros. I think this would be a cool way to allow members to engage with the pros outside of the forums.

all great feedback guys!  we are definitely considering adding some new ideas to the audio mix…just trying to figure out what those things will be, and how to best roll them out.

I'm also up for more member podcasts – some of the theory stuff works really well as audio only.
